Engineer by training, builder by instinct, closer by trade. I engineered the first automated ISP billing and provisioning system before anyone else was doing it. I created channel sales programs before "channel sales" was a thing. I applied Six Sigma to enterprise sales when nobody believed it could be done. From pioneering internet access in the Pacific Northwest to closing over $500M in enterprise deals, I speak technology like an engineer and sell like a CEO — because I am both.
In 1981 at Chicks Auto Electric, I asked myself: "Why are my competitors buying from the same distributors I am? Why not make them my customers?" I started supplying our inventory lists to competitors — turning them into wholesale accounts. Within two years, we were the "go to warehouse" for the entire region. Nobody called it "channel sales" back then. I just solved the problem. Turns out I invented the playbook.
At EarthLink, I introduced Six Sigma process control into enterprise sales. Conventional wisdom said complex B2B deals couldn't be process-engineered. I proved them wrong with a 78% deal closing ratio — unheard of. Secured $207M in contracts through the Broadband Alliance project, landing three out of five major mall retailers. I earned both my Six Sigma Green Belt and Black Belt to back it up.
At Blue Mountain Internet, every ISP was manually creating accounts via Unix command line. I knew from my BBS days that scaling meant automation. So I built the billing server first. Accounts entered in billing → Cron auto-provisioned. Cancellations → Cron de-provisioned. Accounting could pause accounts for non-payment — no sysadmin needed. Every account was billed, every cancellation was clean, nothing fell through the cracks. DevOps in 1993.
I'm an electrical engineer who learned early that technology doesn't sell itself — and the best salespeople are the ones who understand the tech deeply enough to translate it into business language that MBAs actually get. I've built ISPs from scratch, grown a small engine division from $0 to $3M in two years, closed over $500M in enterprise deals, and I still weld, fix tractors, and wire buildings on my ranch. The thread through all of it: I figure out how things work, then I make them work better.
Before the commercial internet existed, I was already building systems that would shape it. From BBS to ISP to enterprise networking — four decades at the edge.
Hired to run the small engine department from nothing — zero revenue, zero inventory, zero systems. Designed and wrote custom business software (1982) that handled quotes, invoices, inventory control, advertising, direct mail, and inventory lists. Turned competitors into wholesale customers — created what we'd now call a channel sales program before anyone had a name for it. Grew the division to $3M/year in two years.
Started a dial-up BBS in 1989. In 1991, pivoted into one of the first Internet email service providers in the country — before most people knew what email was. This front-row seat to the internet revolution taught me everything about scaling, user management, and automated operations.
Founded the first ISP in Eastern Washington and Oregon, expanding nationwide within two years. Engineered proprietary software and network systems before off-the-shelf solutions existed — creating one of the most stable networks of its era. Built the billing server first and pioneered automated Cron-driven provisioning and de-provisioning. Accounting could put accounts on hold for non-payment — no sysadmin needed. Sold and re-purchased the company multiple times. Hired and trained over 400 college students, giving them their first tech jobs.
Personally recruited by the CEO to build an ISP division. Progressed through seven roles — Director of Engineering, National Sales Director, Senior Product Manager, Director of Sales Engineering, Director of Operations, Manager of Project Management — earning each promotion by consistently delivering.
I don't just sell — I architect deals. With deep technical fluency and Sandler training, I engage C-level, security, and engineering buyers in complex multi-stakeholder deals across banking, government, SLED, and distributed enterprises.
Every year the club was offered. A pattern, not a fluke.

Every tool in the toolbox. I study the craft obsessively.
Introduced Six Sigma into enterprise sales — 78% closing ratio. Secured $207M in contracts through the Broadband Alliance. $207M of that $500M+ came right here in 4 years.

Cybersecurity, managed services, UCaaS, SD-WAN to banking and financial institutions. Authored new channel strategy driving substantial growth.
National sales strategy for AI-driven solutions — 140% increase in client acquisition.
Cybersecurity, cloud, IoT, UCaaS to government and enterprise. Pipeline from $0 to $830M in two years.
I'm an electrical engineer who can design a network, rebuild a transmission, wire a building, weld a gate, and troubleshoot a mainframe — sometimes all in the same week.

First ISP in Eastern WA & OR. Pioneered automated provisioning.
$0 → $3M in 2 years. Invented channel sales. Custom software in 1982.
BBS → first internet email provider (1991). Foundation for BMI.
I've been automating systems since 1982 — long before "AI" was a buzzword. I wrote my first inventory management software before most people had home computers. I built automated ISP provisioning five years before Google existed. Today I build AI systems that generate real revenue, manage operations, and create products.
A React Native voice-first mobile app for field technicians to track time, materials, and mileage hands-free. Self-hosted Whisper STT endpoint — I believe in owning my infrastructure. 75+ inventory items across 5 categories, Google Drive auto-folder creation, zero cloud dependencies for core functionality.
Generates children's books from concept to publication: AI story generation, illustrations with fallback pipelines, character persistence across series, and multi-format export (EPUB, HTML, coloring books). Live on port 8600.
My digital right hand — a persistent AI that manages email, monitors servers, scrapes CRM data, controls farm smart-locks, generates daily business intelligence, and executes complex multi-step projects autonomously across Telegram, web, and Discord. Not a chatbot — a self-directed operations engine.
Founded to bridge the gap between AI capability and real business execution. Intelligent voice response, automated workflows, AI-driven sales intelligence, business process optimization. Everything serves one purpose: making businesses more efficient and profitable.
Cron-driven account lifecycle management. Billing → auto-provision. Cancellation → auto-deprovision. Accounting controls → automated holds. This was the automation model before anyone called it "DevOps." The same systems-thinking drives my AI work today.
Before spreadsheets, before ERP, before most people had a computer on their desk — I wrote software that ran an entire business. Quotes, invoices, inventory, advertising, direct mail, automated inventory lists for wholesale customers. On hardware that couldn't run a modern calculator app. Automation isn't something I adopted. It's something I invented.
Beyond the technology and the boardroom, this is what I come home to.
Everything I've built, I've built for them. The farm, the businesses, the late nights engineering — it's all to create something lasting.
A Beagle, a Black Lab, a mutt who rules them all, and cats — lots of cats. The ranch wouldn't be the same without them.
